PTC Systems Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at the PTC main office in Woodford Green.
The main responsibility of the Accounts Assistant role will involve both aspects of the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger

Duties will include:
- Sales ledger support – Assist with Job costing
- Reconciling retentions and maintaining retention records
- Credit Control
- Producing manual invoices/statements
- Prepare timesheets for payroll processing
- Prepare and process monthly expenses
- Processing Suppliers invoices and their payments onto SAGE 200 Accounts Package
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Prepare and distribute monthly CIS deduction statements
- General accounting duties as required
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
The essential qualities required for the Accounts Assistant include:
- Previous purchase ledger /Sales Ledger/Credit Control experience
- Excellent excel skills
- Ideally knowledge of Sage 200 Accounts Package
- Experience of working in a busy Accounts environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Team Player
- Ideally knowledge of the construction industry
The successful candidate must be reliable, enthusiastic and comfortable working in a busy fast-moving environment.
The hours of work are 34.75 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 5:00pm, Friday 9:00am to 4:45pm.
The salary is £18,000 to £21,000 depending on experience.
